Preparation
The syllabus for VITEEE is a bumpy blend of the CBSE and the Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus and questions for the examination only come from the prescribed syllabus. Hence, applicants need to cover the official syllabus completely and thoroughly. They are also advised to cover previous years’ question and answer papers, go for online mock tests, online question series, and revise their 11th and 12th class subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
Entrance Syllabus: (Subjects for Study)
Students applying for VITEEE exam are recommended to primarily cover Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Topics like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English should be given more priorities during the practice period.
Question pattern
VITEEE is a Computer Based Test (CBT) which offers students two options to attempt the test i.e.
- PCM variant: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English
- PCB variant: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
Duration of the exam is for 2.30 minutes. It is conducted in 3 slots in three days. Question format is Multiple Choice Question Paper, featuring 125 questions in each of the PCM and PCB formats. Students will get 40 Questions each from Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Biology and 5 questions from English. Each correct answer fetches one mark and there are no negative markings for wrong answers.
