XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute), Jamshedpur will conduct Xavier Aptitude Test on 6th January 2019 on behalf of XAMI. The process of filling the online application form commences from 20th August 2018 which will end on 30th November 2018. To fill up the application form online, you need a valid email address, mobile number, and mark sheets of 10th, 12th and Graduation. You also require a scanned photograph (not more than 50KB) and scanned signature (not more than 20KB) of the candidate. For making the online payment, you require Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking credentials.
XLRI will conduct the exams across the country in major cities like Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Amritsar, Guwahati, Dehradun, Jammu, Varanasi, Allahabad, Kolkata, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Indore, Udaipur, Kanpur, Raipur, Lucknow, Bhopal, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Cochin, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Mangalore, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Goa, Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vadodara.
The changes made for XAT 2019:
- Elimination of the compulsory Essay writing from the question paper in Section B.
- The exam will be computer-based.
- The exam duration is of 3 hours and will get conducted in one shift. Earlier it was 3.35 hours.
- The application registration fee increased from Rs 1650 to Rs 1700.
- Only online payment mode for registration is available this year.

XAT 2019 fee structure:
The applicants can make the payment using Debit/Credit Card or even transact through online banking.
The registration fee is Rs 1700 if you make it within the last date. If you fail to make the payment within the due date, you have to pay Rs 2000 (Rs 300 is chargeable as late fee).
If you are interested in XLRI programs/courses, you have to make a payment of Rs 300 as an additional fee for each course, which is applicable within the due date. If you fail to make the payment within the due date, you have to pay Rs 500 for each course (Rs 200 is chargeable as late fee for each course).
XAT 2019 Eligibility criteria:
The aspirants must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed.
There is no age limit for appearing XAT 2019. Aspirants with Indian, Foreign or NRI nationality are eligible to apply for the exam. The aspirants with foreign or NRI nationality will have to apply through GMAT Scores. There is no minimum qualifying mark for applying for the examination. The candidate must complete Bachelors course (minimum of 3 years duration) or equivalent degree course in any discipline to become eligible for appearing the exam. Candidates appearing the last year of Bachelors Course are also eligible to apply. Candidates with PG qualification, need to give their PG percentage instead of graduation percentage.
XAT 2019 Exam pattern:
- XLRI will conduct the XAT exam through online mode.
- The Exam Papers will get divided into two sections, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- The exam duration will be of 3 hours, i.e., 10:00 AM- 1: 00 PM.
- The candidates will face questions from different sections like Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation, Decision Making and General Knowledge.
- The aspirants will face total 98 questions from all the sections.
- For every wrong answer, ¼ marks will get deducted.
